Check out Allegiant Airlines. They have two hubs in FL along with Las Vegas. We fly them to LV all the time and they are great.

Laura, you don't say where you are coming from. We cannot advise you without that info. Alligiant may or may not go from your City to Orlando, but we would have to know your city. I suggest you not bother with Expedia or Orbitz as a first search. They could be heplful if there are Multiple Airlines involved. The best place to search is "KAYAK". You look there for the best schedule and price, then go to the airline website shown on Kayak. Sometimes Orbitz or Expedia could give a good deal, but usually you are better off going directly to the airline.

Travel Tips for Orlando
Fast Pass at DisneyWorld
by Dabs
One of the things I like best about DisneyWorld is the introduction of FastPass which saves an incredible amount of time that you would have spent standing in line doing something else. Only the popular rides with the longest lines utilize FastPass, they are marked in the Park map, you get the FastPass by inserting your admission ticket into the FastPass machine in front of the attraction. The return time window is marked at the entrance to the ride and on the FastPass ticket.
We got a FastPass for Stitch's Great Escape (waste of time) first, our return window was about an hour later so we went off to go on something else while we were waiting for our slot. The FastPass line usually goes pretty quickly, certainly much quicker than standing in the general line.
Fast Pass was even more valuable at EPCOT where there are fewer attractions and longer standby wait times. Get your FastPass for Soarin' or Test Track as soon as you get to the Park, Soarin' actually ran out of FastPass slots by midafternoon. And check the FastPass to see when you can get the next one, sometimes it is before your current slot if the wait times are several hours.
Visit all of Disney's Theme...

Visit all of Disney's Theme Parks: The Magic Kingdom, MGM, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. Wine festival and visiting all of the countries @ Epcot. Breakfast at Chef Mickey's located at the Contemporary. Seeing the Magic Kingdom through the eyes of my child.
No Outside Beverages Allowed
by cjg1
You are not alowed to bring beverages into the Theme Parks. Beverages can add up during a hot summer day. A large Bottled water is $2. We like to bring an empty water bottle and fill it up at various water fountains throughout the day. It's easier than waiting in line and saves money.
Orlando is very conservative...
by miromi
Orlando is very conservative and not very open-minded. I was going to rag on it some more, but compared with other parts of Florida, it actually isn't that bad. It's probably the most gay-friendly city in the area--at least the downtown is.
The Orlando government is overly obsessed with image, and will go to great lengths to accommodate and protect tourists.
Packing List
by b1bob
Bring a good pair of comfortable shoes because, in spite of the monorail and other convenient modes of transport, you will do some tall walking. Sun block A good 35mm camera and, for goodness sakes, take more photos than my mama did. Pack light.
