parking pass
If you drive to wdw and park at the individual parks, remember that the parking ticket you buy can be used all day at all the parks. You dont have to pay to park in each park, you can use the same parking pass. Just take it with you.

Staying in Kissimee over Halloween and just wondered if anyone knows of any parades in that area, old town or anywhere else nearby that we can take our little girl to??? We are visiting Disney and Universal but wont be going to the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.
Thanks for any help.
I believe Sea World is having a children-oriented Halloween attraction.
They do all have Halloween festivities, but the only commercials I had noticed that were focused on kids were the ones for SeaWorld. For adults, the Universal and Busch Gardens Halloween-themed events look awesome - I keep getting the song in the commercial for Busch Gardens' stuck in my head!
Downtown Disney also does a very popular trick-or-treating event on the 30th and 31st for those with young kids, but it's fun for all ages. The event goes from 5-9pm so get there a little early to avoid traffic. If you go to this site, it actually has a detailed map of all the shops at downtown disney that will be giving away the goodies - http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2009/10/happy-haunting-at-downtown-disney-begins/ . Hope you and your family enjoy if you go!

GO TO Sea World ..this is one of the big 'must see' places along with Kennedy Space Centre, everyone will do Disney at some point most will return to the Epcot centre, however the best value when compared to the other Orlando sites has to be Universal Studios... For those of you who have travelled from the UK with Virgin Holidays you should NOT MISS the opportunity to go on the Water Safari Excursion it is by far the best Full Day Excursion I have ever taken ( 5 times so far and again this year )although another day out offered by other companies is the Full Day excursion to the Everglades and ending up spending some time in the late afternoon and early evening on Marco Island on the Gulf of Mexico....brilliant but a very long day. Me pictured at Marco Island in 1997
When we go to Disney it is normally with very little cash. We stay on property and use our room key to charge purchases back to the room (it's a good way to have a record of where they money is going). We use the Disney dining plan so no money is needed for meals and snacks. There are several ATMS throughout the parks and resorts mostly at guest service areas.
Orlando Loch Haven Park covers 45 acres and serves as the region's premier cultural park. With the many museums or theatre groups located in the park, there is always something new to see or do. One of Central Florida?s oldest and largest oak trees, "The Mayor", grows in the park near Orlando's Mennello Museum of American Folk Art.
For Orlando itself, the main annual event is the Silver Spring Rodeo which at 50,000 spectators is the largest rodeo in the Eastern US. Every day is festival day at Walt Disney World with the addition of the Oldsmobile Scramble and Classic for amateur and professional golfers held in October.
If going to the parks in the summer pack very, very light clothes. It's very hot in the parks in the summer time. Visor, hats, tennis shoes, sneakers - the most comfortable shoes you have. Be careful with flip-flops, mules or slides... I've seen many trying to fly from some rides. Last time I've been in Orlando (January/2001, was so cold that I wore gloves and tons of winter clothes. First-aid kit is always welcome. Band-aid.. for your feet. First time I exaggerated. I took more than 500 pics. Don't do that! One fool it's enough. You will see things that is nice.
So take your camera.. films and have a good shot.
Try to buy your films out of the parks. The price is absurd! I have to go trhough my pics about camping. Don't forget to pack lots of sunblock if going in the summer.
Try not take young kids to the park on summer time.
Water...drink a lot of it.
