Hi - Busch Gardens is actually in Tampa and I think you'll find better parks for a 3 year old in the Orlando area. Although many of the rides/shows at Universal & Islands of Adventure are geared towards older children/adults there is still alot for a 3 year old to do. You can check here - http://www.universalorlando.com/OverviewPages/Rides/ridesforkids.aspx - for specific information and decide if those things would interest your daughter. (Universal and Islands of Adventure are 2 separate parks.) Disney World (Magic Kingdom) and Animal Kingdom are ideal, Epcot is not, MGM may also be fun. You may also enjoy some of the water parks. One thing most kids love is a meal with the characters. They are available at many Disney hotels (you don't have to be a guest) and inside the parks. Check the Disney site - http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/magic-kingdom/ - for all things associated with the parks, character dining, etc. Have fun!

Keti - this question is regarding FL attractions, not CA. Maybe OP has decided against CA(lifornia)??

Sorry, Keti - I was confused with the reference to Disneyland (in CA). :-))

Yes, it's very easy to mix up Disneyland with Disneyworld. Here was one of the previous Orlando discussions:

SeaWorld in Orlando is fabulous for everyone, including small children. All the shows are geared toward a fun experience for all and no one leaves unhappy.
You see the underwater creatures up close as well as "petting" stingrays which swim by you. The rides are for small children in one special area and there are
also rides for the adults also. Aquatica is a water based theme park where all kinds of water activities are available. Everyone seems to be able to find numerous choices just right for them. I have taken my 3 nieces and nephews to both theme park and enjoy them as much as the kids do. Both parks have seasonal attractions as well. Enjoy Orlando....O town.

Busch Gardens is in Tampa, which is a bout an hour from the Disney parks. Busch Gardens has great roller coasters, which is great, but not for a three year old. I think a little one like your own will have more than enough to do in Disney and they do a great job focusing on the little ones. Have fun!

For 3 year old - Magic Kingdom & Sea World. In addition to the animals of Sea World, there is a little area called Shamu's Happy Harbor basically a children's play area & arcade with family rides and water splash area which is great when the weather is hot. I visited Sea World briefly today to see the Wild Arctic ride transition to the Polar Express ride for the holiday season.
Maybe Universal Studios (not island of Adventure) as there are areas for little kids. But definitely more stuff for 3 year olds in Magic Kingdom and Sea World.
Travel Tips for Orlando
Wonder Works Save your Money DONT DO IT!!
by yousiv
We had a horrible expirence at Wonderworks this weekend. An over zelous wonderworks employee that works in Lazer tag was overly rude and physically pushed my party guest while she was carrying a her daughter and told her to stand back and get in line... I approched the employee ( by the way he was 5'10 apprx and very muscular)(roids!!) to ask a question he said he did not need this S!@# and turned his back on me I touched his shoulder to get his attension and he uttered several obsenities in fron to 15 8-9 year olds. Turns out he is in the Orlando police academy and called his policeman friends and the officers came to escort me out of Wonderworks because I touched him. I am only 5'1 wieghing 150lbs he must of been at leat 220 5'10 full of muscles. He ruined my party and management let him get away with it. As I was leaving in the parking lot the police officers and the employee where laughing it up. Needless to say I will never return to this attraction or any other affiliate!!
Yous should do the same!! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!

The most important thing you have to go see is WALT DISNEY WORLD. Plain and simple. All the parks. I reccommend the Magic Kingdom if you plan on only attending one park. That is where it all started. It has the most rides also. Waking up at about 8:30am, 70 degrees and sunny, getting ready to go to the Magic Kingdom.

You can hit Disney World and Universal Studios, but the area has a plethura of other fun and easy to attend activities. Must dos: Sea World, Gatorland, Church Street Station, and Clubbin away from tourists.

rain everyday
by iam1wthee
Bring umbrella. It rains everyday in Orlando due to the cross winds of the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean plus the place is full of lakes. It doesnt always rain for the entire day but it can pour. Don't let the rain spoil your plans because things will carry on anyway
