Happy At Parc Corniche
by A TripAdvisor Member
Read a lot of mixed reviews about this hotel and felt a little uneasy as our holiday approached. However I had nothing to fear.
We stayed there from 8/10 to 22/10 2004, and were very happy. Staff were freindly, rooms clean, new bedding 3 times in two weeks, new towels every day. We had a one bedroom apt. which was large and very comfortable, infact the bed was fantastic, I have never slept in such a comfy bed. So the walls in the room could do with a lick of paint and the breakfast is quite poor but thats all thats wrong with this hotel.
We did not hire a car but still got aroud easily, there is a trolley stop outside the hotel and a bus for universal picks you up at the reception.
I would be delighted to stay at this hotel in the future.
okay for a day or two

We stayed for one night at Parc Corniche in October 2004, while our Disney timeshare was getting ready. We stayed in the 2 BR, which definitley needed updating ( carpet stains, tiles missing from the roof area ). Nonetheless, this served our needs very much so, considering the price ( 110/night ). Breakfast included was nice also. I would recommend this place as a stopover ONLY.
FAB PLACE

Stayed August 2004. Friendly staff who I found very helpful. Rooms could do with a little updating, but they were very clean and had loads of room.
Excellent location on I-DRIVE, in the middle of a golf course within easy distance from all the Theme parks. I have stayed in a Disney Hotel in which the rooms were not as nice and the staff were not as friendly. We have stayed on I-Dive a few times because it is a good location for Theme parks, Shops and eating out. And it is the location to stay if you don't want to drive.
THE PARC CORNICHE IS THE PLACE TO STAY IF YOU WANT MORE THAN A HOTEL ROOM !!!!!
Will never stay there again!

We stayed at the Parc Corniche for two weeks from 10th September 2004. It was the worst hotel I have stayed in whilst in Orlando. The rooms, although large, were dirty and in need of renovation. The facilities were limited. The restaurant hours were posted as 6pm-10pm but it usually closed well before 10pm. Although most of the staff were friendly, the assistant Manager (Kylie) was of little use to anyone!. Our beds weren't changed for the two weeks we stayed there. There was a filthy sheet on the sofabed which had blood on it. There was thick dust under all the beds and the paintwork was filthy. We also had a problem where a member of staff misinformed us regarding car rental, causing us to lose a full day at Busch gardens. We will definitely be staying elswhere next year.
Would Stay There Again

We stayed at the Parc Corniche from 13/10/2004 to 27/10/2004. We had no problems at all with the staff, including the restaurant people. In fact it was almost extactly what we expected. The two bedroom accommodation was a bit in need of re-decoration, but was spacious and clean. We used the restaurant a few times and had the breakfast on two or three days.
Everything taken into account it was as good as any we've stayed at. We've stayed in a private villa, The Enclave, Marriot Residence on Sandlake Road, Staybridge Suites on I-Drive, and Quality Suites on Canada Drive ( I think that's where it was ).
So, staff and accommodation OK; location not great, it takes about 30 minutes on the I-ride to get into the centre of I-drive and about an hour to Disney T&TC using I-ride and Lynx. It was also by far the cheapest we've stayed in.
So you pay your money and take your choice - we'd stay there again.
GREAT LOCATION AND VERY NICE RESORT

We stayed at the Parc Corniche during December 2004 and really enjoyed it. Location is great and the resort is well kept and clean.
Will stay there again.
Wouldn't Stay Again - Very Outdated. (Can't be AAA Rated)

Just returned from a five night stay. I was truly disappointed, especially after reviewing some of the previous positive posts before making our reservation.
Positive comments: housekeeping did keep the room clean with what they had to work with, and the soap and shampoo stocked, refrigerator had a ice maker, tv received many channels, had a microwave and broiler oven.
If you are looking for a resort with a nice pool area, tropical decor, and amenities...don't stay there. The front desk said these rooms are all individually owned therefore these owners choose when and what to spend to keep them updated.
The rooms are very outdated. The inroom safe needed a key to open...so you had to carry this key everywhere you went (I never saw this before). Ceramic floor tile in kitchen was coming up, we think this is what made our feet and socks very very dirty. The rooms had wooden floors so you heard everyone walking above you..and everyone heard you walking below you. I had never seen a stove as hold as in this room, the walls paint was all scratched, wallpaper in baths were peeling, no glasses in bathrooms..you had to keep one from the kitchen. One lamp in living room. Smoke detector looked ancient. No safety latch on the entry door. The balcony doors were all unlocked when we checked in.
They say they are next to a golf course but don't bet on viewing it from your room. Too much foliage and weeds to see it.
They say they have two lakes....but they are two drainage ponds.
The restaurant...it's a bar with a pool table and five or six tables to be seated. Had to go the bar and ask bartender for a menu..he wouldn't walk to the table. We decided not to try eating there. We wouldn't even go there for the "free" continental breakfast.
The pool area was very small for five buildings. The whirlpool was small. After the first night's use we wouldn't use again because we didn't smell any chlorine...which they probably didn't use to keep the water clean.
After waiting a year to go on vacation this was truly a disappointment. Sorry for the above negative comments but everyone should be prepared for what to expect. As the one reviewer said you only spend so many hours in your room, We still had a fantastic time in Orlando!

Run Away! Run Away! This place is disgusting and I would not let them pay me to stay there again. I am disputing the charge on my credit card and I canceled 4 out of 5 nights. Room and ground in total disrepair. Bug infestation. Very dirty feeling property. Not worth it no matter the cost.
Nice Place for the money

The room was nice. The staff at the front desk was nice. The location was great, right around the corner from SeaWorld. The pool was dirty. There were underage kids drinking and smoking at the pool and the security guard did nothing about this. I probably would go back if I am looking for something cheap.

we are thinking of going to orlando next may. we have seen a great deal staying at parc corniche on international drive, it is quite near seaworld. we do not drive, so will this accomodation be alright for us. if it is near an i ride stop, that will be fine as we can use this transport.we would also maybe like to book a 3 day disney cruise, can anyone tell us where to get the best deal on this. we are 3 adults and 2 children. thank you

I wouldn't stay here if you won't be renting a car, it's in the quiet part of International Drive. If you rent a car, no problem though.
How old are your children? Disney Cruises are expensive, I'd recommend Royal Caribbean. There are many cruises available for a few days that go to the Bahamas. www.priceline.com has some of the best prices.

Hello,
I would have to agree with jetsetter11, the condo complex is not the int'l dr hub, and is set back away from the drive. Dont be put off by this chioce as you don't drive, Hotel provides complimentary scheduled shuttles to SeaWorld, Walt Disney World® Resort, and Universal Studios the I-Ride Trolley Service runs to this complex for travel beyond the theme parks

I would have to say you are restricted to eating out at night, there a thew restarants in the area within walking, so a taxi it is, which will increase your budget.
You should consider the following central hotels
Quality Inn at
7600 International Dr.
Quality Inn Plaza on International Drive
Hilton Garden Inn Orlando International Drive North
