In need of a Cool Event Space

by katy3685

I am needing to plan a business reception in October close to I-drive in Orlando, FL. Does anyone have any suggestions of a cool place to have a reception at? Good view, good food, can accommodate about 50 people? Your help is much appreciated!

I think that Cafe Tu Tu Tango is a pretty cool place. It's really unique. If you like art and tapas this is the place to go. It's on International Drive in Orlando. If you want to check out pictures and a description check out www.orlando-florida-local.com/cafetututango.html. Have fun!

Stock up on drinks and snacks

by UKDaisy

Food and drink is generally expensive in the theme parks, so you may like to bring your own to reduce costs.

If you're staying on I-Drive, there's 3 branches of Walgreen's supermarkets where you can purchase food and drinks.

(NB With regard to Kennedy Space Center, they will not allow any outside food to be brought onto the premises, so if you have a car, then store the goods there, otherwise don't bother to bring any food/drinks there)

www.enzian.org The Enzian is the area's best bet for an evening at the movies that won't leave a patron ruing the state of cinematic entertainment. Intelligently selected indie fare is place's continuing calling card, though its popularity also has a good deal to do with the availability of good food.

BEST FRENCH RESTAURANT

BEST FRENCH RESTAURANT

Le Bon Appetit

Forget everything you thought you knew about French restaurants. Snotty waiters? The Marlot family (mère et père, and their son and daughter-in-law) will gamely converse with you in your stumbling high-school French — you don't really have a choice, since there's very little English spoken here, so it's make a fool of yourself or starve. Tiny, fussy food? Try the hearty homemade country pâté, served with gherkins and grainy mustard — hardly delicate fare. Your entree (sure to be a generous portion) will occupy a plate groaning with Provençal sides: potatoes Anna, ratatouille, stuffed broiled tomato. And every bite will be classically balanced; not obnoxiously gastronomique, just perfectly seasoned and cooked according to centuries of French wisdom.

CHEAP GOLF @ disney!

by sunnfox12345

Check online for Disney golf. I managed to book my husband a tee time (after 3pm) On a Disney course for less than $40 which included a cart. You can rent clubs if need be. He is thrilled to be playing a major course (The Palms) at such a great price! The course is located on Disney property across from the Polynesian Resort. There are other courses available with these great prices too. A few restrictions, like the late tee time, apply, But then your not playing at the Hottest time of the Florida day anyway. They will even pair you up to make a foursome, what a great way to meet new people while on vacation. WHEN YOU CALL, MAKE SURE YOU SAY YOU WANT A TEE TIME AFTER 3PM AND WANT THE DISCOUNTED RATE FOR THAT OPTION. THIS IS AVAILABLE MAY 12 THRU OCT 2 ONLY. THERE IS ALSO A $10 MORE RATE OF $49 FOR A 10:30 AM TEE TIME. THESE COURSES USUALLY COSTS OVER $100 TO PLAY!!!!!!!!!!! Bring your own clubs or rent them. Practice balls must be purchased if wanted. NO METAL SIPIKE SHOES.
