Bicentennial Park
About 2:30, we went past Bicentennial Park. I took the photo and then did the research about it later. This is a free park in Ormond Beach.
The 40-acre park is north of Ormond Beach and stretches from the Atlantic to the Halifax River where the ICW is located. This is obviously the ICW side.
The website says that in addition to all the athletic activities: "Beachgoers may park across the street from the ocean on the" east side of the park to enjoy the sand and surf.
"Hikers looking to get back to nature may take a jaunt along on of the ... nature trails and boardwalks. Winding through the scrub habitat, gopher tortoises and raccoons call this area home. The western terminus of the trail carries walkers to the Riv-Ocean Drive fishing dock on the Halifax River." Open daily
