historic hotel
this very nice boutique hotel was built in 1926 during the 1920's florida land boom. the brazilian court has an excellent location for the business traveler or for those who come to shop worth ave. the brazilian court has a very good restaurant, bar, and a small pool in a private courtyard. the rooms are small but nicely appointed. the brazilian court became nationally famous in 1984 when david kennedy, the son of senator robert kennedy died of a cocaine over dose here. as with most south florida hotels prices are much higher during the winter tourist season.
