Palm Beach County enjoys a...

Palm Beach County enjoys a wide array of excellent hotels and motels in every price range for business and leisure travelers. Altogether, the county has more than 215 hotels/motels totaling 15,500 total rooms with an average occupancy rate of about 70 percent.

The county’s most luxurious resorts line the Atlantic Ocean beaches and include the Ritz Carlton in Manalapan, the Four Seasons Ocean Grand and the Palm Beach Hilton Oceanfront Resort in southern Palm Beach, The Breakers and The Colony in Palm Beach and the Jupiter Inn to the north. Singer Island is also the home of numerous beachfront resorts.

Other major hotels are located at inland locations, including the Marriott and PGA Sheraton in Palm Beach Gardens, the Crowne Plaza and the Palm Beach Airport Hilton near the Palm Beach International Airport and the Gulfstream Holiday Inn on the Intracoastal Waterway in Lake Worth. Many of these hotels cater to business travelers and include meeting facilities and corporate-oriented amenities.

Numerous smaller hotels and motels throughout the county serve the growing numbers of vacationers who visit Palm Beach County. Many of these leisure-oriented facilities are located in the beachfront communities of Jupiter, Singer Island, Palm Beach Shores, Palm Beach, South Palm Beach, Manalapan, Ocean Ridge, Gulfstream and Highland Beach.

Visitors who plan on longer stays in Palm Beach County can select from extended-stay inns, rental villas, apartments and condominiums. Seasonal visitors are a common site at many rental communities that offer a full complement of recreational facilities for golf, tennis and swimming.

Palm Beach County’s “high season” runs from mid autumn through early spring and rates are typically higher during the peak October to April period. In addition, a growing number of summer visitors from other parts of Florida, Europe and Latin America have discovered the county’s numerous attractions. Inexpensive week-long or weekend getaway accommodation packages are offered by many hotels and motels during the summer season.
