Help us find a clean safe place.

I will be traveling to Alabama for my vacation but have promised my 14 year old daughter we would spend a couple of days at Panama City Beach. We would like a CLEAN and SAFE Hotel/Motel on the beach side with 2 double beds. No need for special amenities, just want to spend a couple of days being lazy on the beach and a clean place to sleep at night. What would you suggest for such a short stay?

There is a Marriott and Marriott Vacation Club in the marina area that is quite nice also

With so many sites to see, there are no less than 6 shipwrecks off the coast, you should definitely go scuba diving. There are MANY charter boat companies waiting to take you and your money to these sites. Here are a few:
