One of the cheaper places to stay
We stayed here in 02 and it was one of the cheaper places to stay on the beach that was worth what we paid. We loved the pool area, and the little store at the motel. The office area also had some cute birds that the manager brought over for my son to talk to.
It is worth the money to stay here. We stayed beach level, but, I would have preferred to stay street level. Our son was a climber so we opted for the beach level so we wouldn't have a balcony.
Unique Quality: The pool is a large area with plenty of space to lounge. We also enjoyed the handy store, that had great frozen drinks. Non alcholic.
Great for single people. Out of season is a good time for families to stay here. In season is more single people.

Stayed at twice during Spring Break
Pool is nice and well maintained, some of the best waterfront of any beach in the area. Very centrally located with food within walking distance if you're too drunk to drive. Cops on duty during spring break are moderately lenient, but don't be a jerk and *** them off. Some of the rooms are kind of odd, but all come with either porches or balconies. The suites are very nice if you have 4-5 people, I wouldn't put more than 3 people in a regular room, although we did 4 my second year. Rooms are pretty clean and stuff in them seems reasonably new. Has much more lenient occupancy requirements than most motels during peak season (allows you to book as few as 4 nights)
