the back porch seafood & oyster house is a branch of the original back porch is destin. this moderately priced restaurant serves local seafood and american fare. located on front beach road you have a view of the beach. for those who like seafood this restaurant is a good value in p.c. beach.
The brochures always promise "sugar white sands" and "breathtaking dunes." In the case of Panama City Beach, they are 100 percent accurate. Panama City has long been a favorite among those on "Spring Break," as well as those traveling with families. There is something for everybody in this small city that does a great impression of a bigger
city.
Hotels run the gamut from "flea-bag" to world-class. In addition, there are many condos which rent out for the week, month, or year.
Nightlife ranges from relaxing to rowdy, with a wide range of nightspots and clubs to choose from. The famous Club Levela (seen on MTV) is located here. That is an adventure in and of itself with multiple bars and dance clubs within the massive structure.
Restaurant choices are as broadly scattered as the strip itself and range from cozy local cafe's to fancy 5 star experiences. Seafood is as
plentiful as the sand itself, although
most of it is imported from elsewhere and marked up to "tourist rates."
If you are young and love the nightlife, Panama City is as wild and perhaps wilder than you have heard about in peak season. If you are looking for a fun vacation for the family, there is still plenty to do and see without the alcohol factor. In short, the Panama City Beach offers almost everything you could wish for, nomatter what your individual interests.
