Fishy Chain
The man who checked us in to the condo said that Bonefish had Early Bird Specials. But we couldn't find it. We tried two days in a row. Finally we took the phone book with us one morning and found it in the Grand Panama shopping center - not directly on the road. We went out on New Years Eve to visit some parks and afterwards we went directly to Bonefish for dinner. We got there a little before 1700.
We found out that they had happy hour specials on drinks, but not early bird specials for dinner. Although I didn't know it at the time, this is actually a chain restaurant
Even though we went in on New Years Eve, without a reservation, they did seat us. Possibly the fact that we were trying to be early enough for the supposed Early Bird Specials helped. I had a cup of chowder , and the Tilapia with potatoes au gratin and green beans (photo 4). Bob had the Mahi mahi with mashed potatoes and green beans (photo 3). Total was $36.23 before tip, and it was all VERY good.
