Travel Tips for Panama City Beach
Panama City Beach, FL
This is, so far, the best place to vacation. It will be awhile before I go back, but it will always hold a special place in my memory. I used to live in Georgia, only eight hours away. On the last trip I remember how excited I got when it came time to leave, for Panama City Beach, FL; early in the morning. I, and a couple of friends, would stop very quickly for breakfast and then be on our way. Seven hours later, in southern Alabama, you could roll down your window, and breathe in the ocean air. I could always smell it way before I got there. This would always get me more anxious. Also, you start to see sand on the side of the road at this point. An hour later, you would be in Florida, and seeing the ocean just about made me burst. I could hardly stand to wait any longer. As soon as we got the keys in our doors, and luggage inside our room, we changed and went straight to the beach. This was pretty much tradition. Especially since it has been a year since I have been there. We usually arrived in Panama City Beach, FL around 5pm or 6pm their time(Central Time Zone). Even at this time of the day, the ocean would be bath water temperature. I was always amazed at how warm the water would be. AHhhhhh... Panama City Beach. A wonderful place to visit. Above is an actual picture of the beach. Don't know who the people are in this picture.
