Alligator Farm - Fountain Florida

While not necessarily off the beaten path, the Alligator Farm in Fountain Florida is certainly not a main attraction in this Beach town.

The Farm hosts a variety of alligators as well as a small Emu Farm. The people are nice and provide lots of information on the animals.This is a great place to stop if you have kids.

The Alligator Farm is about an hour north of the Beach on 231 just north of I-10. If you are heading south into Panama City it'll be on the Right Hand Side of the Road.

We were just visiting my husband's brother, who lives here. Just driving through. We got to go to a pier to look out at the water and back toward the city. It was great. We definitely want to get back as soon as we can. The white sandy beaches were everything we'd pictured. In trying to secure great reservations for the following year, I found little luck. I guess you have to just settle for anything and then just be glad you're there! It looks like there is SO much to do! All within walking distance from wherever you want to start!
