Allens seafood restaurant!
Note: Allens burned to the ground about a week after my last visit but the family is rebuilding now and should re-open this summer (2000).
Locals eat here (that should tell you something right off).
Since it's off the beach the prices are lower. It offers first class fresh seafood in a family atmosphere with a lovely view of the bay. She crab soup..decadent! Gulf fresh red snapper. Deviled crab. Fresh oysters, shucked while you watch. My mouth is watering.

Cold and windy but beautifful beaches

We arrived in PSB after a short trip on the cost from Perry. The weather was cold but the sun was shining so it was lovely. When we entered PSB it wasn't at all what we had expected. The place seemed deserted. No living soal in the streets. I guess the storm took everything, it was terrible. Because we were only going to stay for 1 day. It didn't matter much so we went shopping in the nearby village of Destin which was much nicer. So a next time I will go there for my summer holiday.
