Think Twice

Sterling Beach Resort is a pretty nice place to visit, except for a severe architectural flaw that will keep me from returning as a renter, and would also have me looking for someone to sue if I were an owner. Everything is fine until the wind blows hard, and then the deck railings go into a harmonic roar that sounds like a B-52 bomber landing right in your bedroom. Try sleeping through that all night! In fairness, I talked to two other renters, one who was new to the facility and as aghast as I was, and one who said it was bad but "oh well." So I guess staying at Sterling Beach depends on how much discomfort you want for your money, because an indifferent management will not issue refunds for early departure.

Other than that, a nice enough place!
