We stayed at the Sterling Reef on the 3rd floor last summer and this place is wonderful! The rooms are beautifully decorated; each will be different, as many are individually owned. The views are breathtaking. I've been to Panama City Beach many times before, and this place is, by far, the best place to stay! The beaches aren't overcrowded, but the location is still centrally located. The complaints were when they had renovations going on, but they were all completed when I stayed. I couldn't ask for anything more in a condo. I highly recommend you try this place!

I believe it was named after a hat.
The founders of the area that became Panama City wanted to capatilize on it's location between Chicago and Panama, with the intent of it becoming a major shipping port, thus the name Panama City. This never happend of course,but it is a neat place to get plastered, and wake up in a hotel room with a strange Penn State coed named Tina.

Panama is beautiful. I wsa stsation there and it's a land of paradise with lots and lots of nice easy going people. I lived downtown in the City!
guy harvey island grill panama city beach is one of a chain of tropical themed restaurants and bars in florida. guy harvey is a famous florida wildlife artist and marine conservationist. guy harvey island grill serves local seafood and american fare in a fun key west style setting. a fun place to east and drink in p.c. beach.
Panama City Beach has reputation as a college party town, which is somewhat undeserved. Really, outside of Spring Break, it's a fun family holiday spot, with lovely beaches, friendly people, and plenty to do. Maybe a bit tourist-trappy what with all the miniature golf courses and tiki hut restaurants, but still a nice and affordable beach getaway nonetheless.
