Getting Close to a Tiger!
I am planning on coming down to panama city beach in late July before school picks up again. Where is a place to stay on the west end that has a lot of things to do for kids ( around the ages 4-17) such as activities and amenitites?
Thanks!
Nice idea! It's better time to enjoy in this season.... Well enough of baby sitting, don’t forget to check out the shipwreck Island during the day time, it is one of the most spectacular islands you would ever be to in America. There is lots of room for party animals in Florida.

The Museum of Man in the Sea covers the history of Diving from the 1500's to modern day with a focus on commercial diving and research.
Outside they have several dive vehicles and labs including SEALAB I that you can take a look at.
Inside they have pictures and dioramas showing early diving rigs that date to the 1500's. Other sections of the museum include a video on cave diving in Florida, a short video on recovering the treasure of the Atocha as well as some recovered artifacts from various ships.
There are quite a few different diving rigs on display that are quite interesting as well. If you are a diver, this is a nice place to stop by and check out. It's a small museum and the admission was $5.00 a person.
