Tipping
by CindyInItaly
Living in PCB for 22 years, I've realized that old Canadians DO NOT TIP at restaurants! This is one of the most insulting thing you can do to someone who works for less than 1/2 of minimum wage. If you want to leave a good impression for the locals, tip your waiter/waitress and barmen.
Captain Anderson's

If you like fishing, watching people fish, or would like to give it a try....go to Captain Anderson's. This is a restaurant and behind it is where you board a boat to go deep sea fishing. This is a charter boat where a lot of people get on. You can also contact other companies to do private charters if you would like. If you would like to go, but don't want the hassle of worrying about where you will put the fish you catch; don't worry, Captain Anderson's restaurant will buy them from you as soon as you get off the boat.
Beach Photos
by cfwestbe
This is a series of photos taken along Panama City Beach. Some look to the east and some to the West. The water (Gulf of Mexico), or "the Gulf" as we locals call it, is South-southwest of the beaches. I hope you like these photos.
The sand is so white, that you can easily get sun burned from the light reflecting off the sand. People who stay under beach umbrellas wonder why they get sun burned in the "shade".
You can see that many houses and / or condominiums back up onto the beach.
The sand is very fine, not coarse like along the Atlantic coast.
