Fairhope, Alabama
by ForestqueenNYC
This is a a really cute town on Mobile Bay. There are some pretty neighborhoods to drive around, antique stores to poke through, a couple of rather fashionable boutiques where Fairhope ladies buy their Mardi Gras finery, and my favorite of all, Sandra's Place, 218 Fairhope Avenue, where you can get good homemade soups, salads and sandwiches, a glass of iced tea, and for desert, a piece of their wonderful homemade cake. Tel: 251-990-3344.
To get there from Pensacola, you can take the back roads, going through Foley for the scenic country drive and return via Route 10. According to Map Quest, it should take about an hour if you take Route 10.

Beautiful Surroundings, outside seating. This is a new Restaurant and we have not been able to try it so far. This has been several different names in the past, however the food has always been great. I feel sure that this will become another favorite for us.
