Tip Rating: Satisfaction: | | | | |
I thought $109 a night was too much for this hotel room. The room had 2 queen beds, a microwave, coffee maker, tv, iron/ironing board, small fridge, etc. And it was right across the street from the beach. But considering that the beach was practically deserted due to the recent hurricane, devestation was still nearly everywhere (there was hardly anything open and thus, not much to do), there was hair in the bathtub and on day 2 the toilet overflowed and I was ankle-deep in water... $109 seemed just a tad bit high! Maybe your stay will be more reasonable. The simple breakfast was decent.
This hotel is right across the street from the beach. Also across the street are some bars and restaurants, many of which are now closed because of the hurricane damage (as of Jan 2005) Leave a Comment

I didn't stay at this hotel - I took the picture as we drove around on Pensacola Beach assessing the damage from Ivan in 2004 and Rita in 2005. The sign says welcome, and the website has rates on it. The rates range from $79-98 for a double in the off season (winter - Nov to Feb) to $179 for a double on the weekend in the summer. For special events (Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Blue Angels performance) the rates are even higher and a three day minimum stay is required.
Their website says: Our guests enjoy all of the advantages you've come to expect from Comfort Inn, including a full continental breakfast served every morning. The Comfort Inn Pensacola Beach offers 100 rooms each equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffemaker, and King or Queen size beds in every room. Leave a Comment
