Magic Place!
My husband, my daughter and I have stayed there three times and we always book ahead of time, because it is a really beautiful place by the beach, and the place offers really nice accommodations and the staff is always ready to help. You feel like you're at home, and is a family business where they really understand your needs. I definitely recommend you to try it and I guarantee you'll be back. From a nice pool and a neat room to its convenience by the beach, this is definitely the place to go.
Unique Quality: It has a pool, and is next to the beach so it has a great view. It is very clean, has free Wi-Fi and is pet friendly.

Hotel at a certain location
On our honeymoon in 1972, we stayed at a place called the International Resort Hotel at 1480 S. Ocean Blvd. in Pompano Beach...I can actually see it on google earth, but can't find the name of it now...any suggestions or info on the name

When I did so for the address, city, and state you noted; I found fifteen residential addresses but no professional listings. My guess is that the former resort hotel has become an apartment or condo.
If it makes you feel any better, the lakeside cabins we honeymooned at, just 25 years ago, went out of business years ago (according to the post office clerk). A visit to its gate found the place locked up and abandoned.
