FLAGLER COLLEGE Was once the old Ponce de Leon Hotel built in 1885-1888, established by Henry M. Flagler, co-founder of Standard Oil (Sunoco). Flagler is responsible for turning St. Augustine into a fashionable resort in the late 1800's and built roads and resort hotels.
The college was founded in 1968.

A nice lounge in the Casa Monica
by donpaul77 about Cafe Cordova
The Cafe Cordova, located in the plush lobby of the Casa Monica Hotel, is a nice place to enjoy a fine cocktail while listening to low key live music. It's on the classier end of the St. Augustine nightlife landscape and is a nice accent to a romantic evening.
They also have outdoor seating. I would opt for something nicer than a tank top or t-shirt...

by doug48 about Santa Maria Restaurant
the santa maria was opened for business in 1954. they offer local seafood and american fare. the santa maria is located on a pier next to the bridge of lions. the most interesting feature of this restaurant is they have small doors at window seats were you can feed the fish in the harbor. a nice place for families with children.
A Belgian Touch
by pieter_jan_v about Denoel
For over 30 years Guy and Christine Denoel are running this French Pastry shop. Besides the shop you can have a great lunch.
At the wall are newspaper articles from the owner's homeland with the Belgium King and more. I enjoyed the soup-du-jour; a kind of small bean soup.
