best location, better rate, good room
This was perfect for us. It was located right across from the Visitors' Center. It was within easy (two block) walking distance of the cemetery, the old district, and several of the attractions (Castillo de Marco, Ripley's) and one block from the restaurants. The sightseeing trolleys stopped at the end of the street the motel was on.
The rate was a measly $65 AAA including all fees and you got a free continental breakfast.
The motel decor was Spanish with door that opened outside the motel rooms on to a veranda walkway. The rooms were spacious, clean and smelled okay (we got double beds, non-smoking). The bathroom was up to my wife's high standards; the furnishings were a bit dated but clean and functional; the full bath had UV heater and hairdryer; there was a small microwave, iron, TV, desk, Table and chair. Continental breakfast was all cold stuffs: doughnuts, danish, dry cereal and milk, fruit and juice; you could make toast and they had coffee urns.
