Woods and Water--Watch your Balls
Take some time off from the sight seeing of Old St. Augustine and play a little golf. This course is much cheaper to play than the courses just a little bit up the road at World Golf Village.

Me and my sister are going on vacation to St. Augustine beach and im trying to find some kind of dancing nightclub so far everything i've found on here are Pubs and resturaunts but im looking for somewhere to get drunk and dance is there anything like that in St. Augustine or atleast in a city near it???
Not much for what you are looking for in St Augustine but you could drive to Daytona for the night and try the Broken Spoke Saloon here is the link..........

How long does it take to get to Daytona from St. Augustine?
If you take 95 it would take a bit more than half an hour (since no one really drives the speed limit anyway). But then you'd have to worry about having a DD...
I haven't had this particularly happen in Saint Augustine, but I have been in many situations where I wasn't exactly in a night club, but still wound up dancing the night away. I don't think the bars in St. Aug. are open very late, but the pubs might still be a good starting point.
There's also Anastasia Island - still not really clubby, but there are a few more bars.
I would start with the Ghost tour or something, since it starts after dark, and then see if you can get any good recommendations from there. The restaurant/bar Scarlett O'Hara's also seems like it draws some fun people, and they usually have good drink specials.
For the first time in 2003, I saw and took a picture of this 280 foot stainless steel cross. It marks the spot of the founding of the city of St. Augustine and was erected to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the city. Photo number 2 has one of the danger shoaling signs on the left in the foreground. I took additional photos as we were leaving St. Augustine in the spring of 2004.
It is at the Nombre de Dios Mission (ranslated as "Name of God" Mission), which is an original Spanish mission which was founded in 1565. The site includes the "Our Lady of La Leche Shrine" and numerous other shrines and statues. It is at San Marco and Ocean Avenues.
There is no charge for admission.
Go to Scarlet Ohara's for some go ole drinks and music. Its nothing fancy but they serve up good oysters and wings! Great shooters and beer! Then cruise down to The Milltop for more great local music and good beer!
Great atmosphere just good bars no gimmicks! Casual!
It's good ... It's Cheap. And it's close to anything worth walking to. ONly open for lunch and dinner. Keep that in mind. VERY coffeehouse looking to the point of being STERILE, but don't let the industrial look turn you off. This place typically is SLAMMED w/ customers, and mostly locals. Tourists in the KNOW will be there. It's an amazing place due to the food and the quick service. Full on hangover breakfast. You know what I'm talking about... the eggs, the meat, the bread to soak up the acid-tummy from the night before! You can get grits or potatoes if you want. I'm just saying... The breakfast is where it is at.
BUT... if you stumble in for a quick munchy during lunch time, I had the spinich and feta croissant and that was MOST excellent.
And God Knows: there is the bakery. EVERYTHING LOOKS good and I can vouch for the blond brownie and the German Chocolate cake brownie too.
Never had ANYTHING bad there. It's cheap. It's good.
