The Bridge of Lions across the Matanzas River is at the very top of this picture. King Street runs through the West St. Augustine community, across U.S. 1, and into downtown. The bridge that you see at the bottom of this picture crosses the San Sebastian River. The San Sebastian winery is the large building at 157 King Street, near the lower right of the picture. They have a large retail store on the ground floor and a spiffy rooftop lounge.
This is a wonderful hiking trail that seems to be not very well known. Everytime I've been there, no one else has been around. At the beginning of the trail is a pond with a cute alligator living in it. Frankcanfly and I fed him hotdogs and he seemed to enjoy them a lot.
It's right off A1A, across from Marineland and a little south. Just look for a small brown sign...
The food here is pretty good, mainly typical bar food. After a night of pub hopping, I suppose bar food will work just fine.
There is a full bar and open daily from 11:00am. There is live music 1 pm til close.
A water mill is located outside of tavern for a good picture opportunity.
Awesome place with great atmosphere. The band the night I was there was medicore, but had great energy and kept the crowd happy and well into the music. Food was better then average bar food with some great highend bar choices.
only planned on having one beer and leaving, and ended up staying there for about 3 hours. Eggplant munchables were great
This restaurant can hold it's own with any fine dining experience in any city. First class service, perfect quality food. nice ambience but of course the prices to match. It is always our choice for special occasions. We have a drink at the lounge at the Casa Monica then walk over to La Parisienne. Wonderful!! Then if we can muster the energy dancing at Cortessa's. The excargot are melt in your mouth incredible!!
