Anybody knows Tierra Verde?

by timeshares

Is it a good location for vacation?

Re: Anybody knows Tierra Verde?

by LargoPackers

I guess this is that time sharing comples in saint petersburg. I 've been there for one day because i used to live in saint pete and a friend of mine knows the manager. I personally think its a real nice place if you own a boat. the saint pete marina is real close and you can "park" your boat right next to the resort. They also have a real big pool, live music and the food is awsome.
To summarize it all - if you like boats, pools, music, good food and drinks this is a great place. But if you prefer nice beaches i would go to clearwater beach, because this is a real great beach.
i hope i could help you...

Travel Tips for Saint Petersburg

Going to Ft. Desoto is pretty...

by syrinx1912

Going to Ft. Desoto is pretty fun... white sand that's as smooth as water. Well, I'd say that the best thing that ever happened to me happened in St. Pete. Picture it, St. pete Dec. 4th, 1999. I went backstage of the Mahaffey theatre and met the three most impacting people in my life: Jim Zellers (acticing principal-flute), Daphne Soellner (assist. principal-flute), and Lewis Sligh (who is now my flute teacher, principal piccolo-flute). They made up the flute section of the marvelous, Florida Orchestra.

Polynesian Putter Miniature Golf

by emilienoelle

Maybe minature golf isn't considered a sport by some people, but it is, people. You heard it from me. There are a few minature golf places on Gulf Blvd. in St. Pete's Beach, but the one that we like is Polynesian Putter because it is "The Home of the Tiki". The course features 18 challenging holes of varying difficulty, the piece de la resistance being the hole featuring the giant, 25 foot Tiki with glowing, blue eyes. On the night we played I was smiled upon by the gods because I got a hole-in-one on the Tiki hole. Can you believe it? Polynesian Putter costs $4 per person for 18 holes and you get a free mini pencil.

Oh so Meaty.

by arasnosliw

Awww, doesn't this just whet your appetite?!

Haven't you always wanted to go to a "Meat House"? Ha. Now I don't know what kind of meat they're selling here, but I certainly would rather not find out. I might be traumatized for life.

Oh by the way, food stamps are accepted here. Just in case you're broke and have the desire to eat deer instead of tuna for dinner.

Cullens has the best lunch deals in town.
Cullen's is owned and operated by friendly people who provide fresh food, friendly service, and fair prices - and good cookies, too. Chicken Salad Sandwich, on their fresh rye bread.

by JohnCarroll

The Salvadore Dali Museum is a must see, must do experience. My 20 year old son enjoyed it as much as I did so it appeals to all ages. The docents who lead the tour are very knowledgible and Dali's paintings with the hidden double pictures that you usually don't see until the docent points it out is outstanding. We rated this experience which took about two hours as high as any of the theme parks we visited. The paintings are outstanding!
This museum comes from one collection and therefore, is the only museum that is organized and presented from the collector's viewpoint, rather than the artist's.
