Knights Inn

After leaving Hans' brother's place, we headed toward the Gulf and Sarasota. We had heard it was so beutiful in that area. We wanted to find a motel that was in a good location and close to all that Sarasota had to offer, plus near shops and restaurants. We decided upon the KNIGHT'S INN SARASOTA and stayed for three nights, which should give us enough time to explore the area. The family-owned motel featured a lovely outdoor swimming pool, clean spacious room and free continental breakfast in the morning - all for $44.95 per night ( used a coupon from my Motel Travel Book).
I really liked the location as it was near restaurants, Ringling Museum and not a far drive to the beaches.

Directions: From I-75 take exit 213 and go west to University Blvd. then turn left on Tamiami Trail (US 41)

There is outdoor pool overe there,but we didn't swim a lot,since it was not so hot out!
As for fridge in a room they can bring it for extra 5$ a day.No microwave either!
For breakfast they serve cereal,cream cheese & coffee every day.
Rooms are clean & neat! We paid more than the sum in our "over the internet" reservation papers,my AAA card was ignored!
People who works in the hotel are nice & friendly,always at your service.

Unique Quality: Next to the the Ringlings museum & Sarasota Bay, you can even walk there.but you still need a car to drive to downtown,it's around 3-4miles
