I've stayed here twice on my visits to Siesta Key, this is one of the few places you can stay for under $100 a night, even in season. If you want amenities like in-room jacuzzis and plush carpet, then go elsewhere and pay extra. The Oasis provides some of the cheapest rooms on the Key, at a daily rate, and also has a great location as you can walk to all of the shops and restuarants in The Village.
UPDATE: Word has it that late last year the Oasis was torn down to make way for more expensive accomodations. I know some people thought Oasis was a dump, but it saved many of us nearly $300 A NIGHT by staying there. And with a beach like this, who stays in their room, anyways? Out with the cheap and in with the unaffordable.... score another for the yuppies.
Unique Quality: This place has 2 pools and is very unique in that the rooms are spread out in separate units on the property. It is very much a do-for-yourself stay here, your keys will be waiting for you in your room, with your receipt also waiting at the office for those who arrive after hours.
Directions: Take either Siesta Drive or Stickney Point Rd to get onto the Key and then drive towards the Village, Oasis is just around the corner
