Hard Rock Cade - Sunrise, Florida~ Sunrise, Florida ~
A segment of the Florida Turnpike passes west of the city of Ft. Lauderdale through a series of suburban communities that front the eastern edge of the Everglades. One of these communities, Sunrise, is home to Sawgrass Mills, one of the largest outlet malls in the country. I'm not a fan of outlet malls but Sawgrass Mills does have a Hard Rock Cafe and a Rainforest Cafe in case you get hungry. On the flip side, the mall is designed in such a way that its blend of indoor and outdoor areas seem to overpower efforts to provide adequate air conditioning.
Sunrise is part of the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale Metropolitan Area.
