We will be going on a 5 night cruise in January and once we debark, we'll want to rent a car because we're spending 4 days in Treasure Island. My question is...is there a rental car agency near the Tampa Port or will we have to get back to the airport in order to do so?

There is an Avis that will pick you up at the Port. I think you can book it so that you return the car to Tampa Airport at no extra charge if that's where you're ending up. TP5 is the code for the Tampa Avis location. Try the AWD Discount number K817602 when booking.

I loved going to school in Tampa, and running here is great. If you can stand the very hot and humid summers you may enjoy running in the Florida sunshine too. Whatever your activity, your sure to enjoy the sunshine
The game is only3 hours long but the parties run for 3 days. Be sure to explore all that Tampa has to offer for sports and other activities.
Party-wise though..here's a start.

Fri. Jan 30th--The 6th Annual Leather and Laces Party hosted by Kim
Kardashian, Jenny McCarthy and Carmen Electra held at Jackson's in

that will include music by L.A. based DJ Tendaji Lathan and
performances by Cirgue USA. Past celebrities at this event have

Fri. Jan. 30th--Seminole Hard Rock's Revolution Party at Floyd's
inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa with

of HBO's Entourage, Boris Kodjoe of Showtime's Soul Food, Khloe

anniversary Playmate Colleen Shannon will also be the featured DJ.
Hard Rock also toutes this as the only late night party place in
Tampa with the party going until 6AM Saturday morning.
Fri. Jan. 30th the "Under the Veil" Celebrity Party hosted by
Jermaine Dupri and Aqib Talib will be held at the Museum of Science
and Industry in Tampa with tickets starting at $300.For more

Promoters say this star-studded event will feature appearances by
Janet Jackson, Jamie Foxx, Vivica Fox, Megan Good and Antonio Tarver.

Fri. Jan 30th---The MAXIM Party held at The Ritz Ybor City is an
invite only party and MAXIM says SIRIUS XM hosts Covino & Rich will
broadcast live from the red carpet during this party. This is
generally regarded as one of the best Super Bowl parties. Past
celebrities and athletes at this affair have included Cindy Crawford,
Rande Gerber, Vanessa Minillo, Adam Sandler, Steve Nash, Reggie Bush,
Kim Kardashian, Stacey Keibler and Heidi Montag

athletes and celebrities expected to attend. Costner will not only co-

The Dazz Band will also rock the night away. Cirque USA performers

12.3 miles of trails live oaks, hickory trees and sabal palms, lining the Hillsborough River. River Rapids Nature Trail is 1.2 miles and wheelchair and stroller accessible in some areas. The 3.4-mile Florida Trail goes along the river & into the woods. 1.1-mile Baynard Trail features a boardwalk segment with views of the river. 1.6-mile Wetlands Restoration Trail is for hikers and bikers, winding through woods of oaks, hickory and pine trees. It connects with the 5-mile-long Fort King Trail.
Friendship TrailBridge
Begin at the foot of the old Gandy Bridge on the Tampa side, or on the Pinellas County side
2.6-mile trail over Tampa Bay to see boats, dolphins and shorebirds. OK for walkers, bikers, joggers and skaters.
Bayshore Boulevard Greenway
Bayshore Boulevard, lined on one side by mansions and on the other by a 4.5-mile sidewalk running along Tampa Bay. Walkers, joggers, skaters and people pushing baby carriages and walking dogs. Drinking fountains and benches line the seawall in spots.
Suncoast Parkway Trail
Paved trail stretches 41.3 miles through Hillsborough, Pasco and Hernando counties. Trailheads are situated along the Suncoast Parkway at Lutz Lake Fern Road, State Road 54 and other places. (see www.dep.state.fl.us/gwt/guide/regions/westcentral/trails/suncoast.htm for all the trailhead locations). Walkers, bikers and rolllerbladers allowed. Rest areas feature interpretive signs identifying native plants.
The Castle
This is a place where gothic people gather. It is a dark and dirty club on two floors with an awesome 1st floor bar. Despite the fact that some of the people who go there look weird [let's name a regular guest, a guy in a black thong and a women's black negligee], it is a safe place. People are friendly and you don't have to look gothic to go there. It is an 18 and up club. People wear underwear, leather, silver dresses, evening robes, anything. Myself, I usually wear my wide blue pants and a tanktop and nobody cares. In general, wear anything you feel comfortable in, but nothing light colored, for you will get it dirty.
