Top Notch & Caring
I contacted Beverly at the Downtown Courtyard Marriott in Florida by phone from my home in Missouri on the morning of my daughter's 30th birthday. My daughter, an event planner, had been traveling with a group for over a week, & the group would also be gone for an additional week. I contacted the hotel to see if they could help me do something special for my daughter's birthday. They referred me to a local Edible Arrangements business, and then to my total surprise, upgraded my daughter's room to a suite and provided a breakfast compliments of the hotel. My daughter said the room upgrade was fabulous! She said it was like sleeping at home -- it was her best night's sleep during the whole trip. The staff was amazing! We will never forget their thoughtfulness. We were totally blown away by their hospitality. Thank you, Marriott!
Unique Quality: Bedroom suite was like sleeping at home.

It's in the middle of the action (they say)....
This was one of our shorter stays in a hotel...we arrived around midnight and left about seven o'clock... Not because of the hotel but just because of a delay when we arrived and the early wake up because of the jetlag.
The hotel was nice but somewhat expensive in comparising to other courtyards outside big cities...
Unique Quality: To get a parking spot they over valet parking for about $8,00 per day if i remember right.
We didn't use anything else during our short stay...
Some less good things during this stay...
No reaction on a fax with some questions about the room, only after contacting the general marriott e-mail we received a quick and satisfiing (how do i write this) answer.
Room was charged twice ! to my creditcard while it was supposed not to be charged because we had a confirmation it would be paid with 10.000 hotelpoints... After being on the phone with two different departments of Marriott (they couldn't find us) we where connected to the hotel...They corrected the error but no apologize or anything from the hotel...it took me a half hour of phoning to the US to get everything settled...
I wouldn't pick this Marriott hotel again because of the fact they didn't responsed to my fax and they didn't apologize for their error.
It won't effect my travels to Marriott courtyard hotels, they usually are better and cheaper as this one...
