Spend a day at Busch Gardens Theme Park.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a family adventure park offering an array of fascinating attractions. A unique blend of thrilling rides, a zoo featuring more than 2,700 animals, live shows, restaurants, shops and games, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay provides excitement for guests of every age.
Safari Theme Park with lots of rides and animals. Of special note is the Montu inverted roller coaster in the Egypt portion of the park, a top-notch coaster ride (best seat is front row on the left. That first turn's a killer ;). Also worth checking out is the Kumba and the Sky Ride over the Serenghetti park offers a splendid view of the various African wildlife. I never got the chance to try the Gwazi wooden roller coaster or Rhino Rally, but the park is definitely one of Tampa's high points.
My tip is: take it easy! I visited all the great parks in Orlando, but took my time. That way, you get to see it all, even the small details...
I liked Islands of Adventure very much, as it had just been opened. Also, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay was very nice and MGM is the best Disney park. Florida is one big playground....you'll love it or you'll hate it! It has beautiful weather and it is one big, enchanting world....
Don't forget to visit the Everglades! I went there, but regret the fact that my stay at the Everglades was too short....
Tampa offers much in addition to Busch Gardens, such as the Florida Aquarium, Channelside, and waterfront cafés, nightlife, etc. But Busch Gardens is the shining star of the area.
But Busch Gardens will always be the main attraction.

Hi,
I'm looking to book a vacation in Tampa for myself and my fiance for late May/early June. I'm see some good deals on hotels but I have no idea what location is best. We're are looking for a location that will have good restaurant and bars within walking distance. Can some one tell me which of the following areas would provide such facilities.
Brandon
Busch Gardens
Tampa Airport
Tampa Downtown
Tampa East
Tampa North
Any information greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I would not recommend you stay in Ybor. Stay at Channelside or Harbour Island and take the trolly to Ybor and back. You may not like Ybor after hours!!!
