Water side park - a great place to hike or just go on a picnicLittle Manatee River State Park is off U.S. 301 in Manatee County. From Tampa, take I-75 south to Exit 240A. Go east to U.S. 301, then south four miles to Lightfoot Road. Go right on Lightfoot. The park entrance is on the right.
Hours are 8 a.m. to sundown daily.
The park fee is $4 per carload.
