Go to Busch Gardens! It's the best, all around, have everything theme park. The rides are great, the animals are right in your face and it's convenient. An Annual Pass is the best way. Actually, I live close by, so I don't miss much. But, I like the convenience of everything. No matter where you live in the Bay area, the stores, grocery, restaurants, retail etc. are nearby and plentiful.
where evil lurks

The devil comes in all shapes and forms. Who ever thought that he'd come in a little round bundle of fried crab meat and dough. I can't resist temptations, especially when it comes to scrumptious edible things.
Orlando
by emilienoelle
The city of Orlando (where all the theme parks are) is about 90 miles north of Tampa, or about a 1 1/2 hour drive. If you have an extra day, the drive from Tampa to Orlando is a worthwhile way to squeeze in a trip to Disney or SeaWorld without having to pay high Orlando hotel room rates.
