If you get a chance to get a modular home for a snow-bird season in Forest Lake Village, then you'd be wise to take that opportunity.
This is a gated community with 60-foot wide property fronts for each home. Each site has at least a one-car drive and some have two-car accomodation. The homes are securely anchored to their oversized slabs to prevent any wind damage. The yards are green and flowered. The people are generally quiet and friendly.
There is a community center with daily activities, both indoor and outdoor; there is a golfing range; they have two pools.... one large and deep, one for wading. There are plenty of safe tracks to walk or jog around the property (early morning is best). The interior roads are mostly shaded with older trees to provide protection from the summer sun.
secure and shaded
