The area around the Ebenezer Baptist Church is a focal point in Atlanta for the Civil Rights Movement. It is the area in which Martin Luther King grow up and preached as an assistant pastor.Today the area around Alburn Avenue is acknowledged as National Park Historic District and was established in 1980.More information here:
