This hotel has a great downtown location: 2 1/2 block walk from Peachtree Marta station and close to the Georgia World Congress Center and sports arenas. Rates vary radically depending on scheduled events at those venues. The area is clean and safe.
The hotel staff was courteous and attentive. The public areas were clean and well maintained.The room was spacious, bright and clean. The room furniture was all in good repair, coordinated and comfortable. The beds were simple coil mattress with box springs. There were no squeaks, sags or broken coils. The bedding was adequate. The clientèle were well dressed and respectable, although I do not know what it is like after a football game. The area seemed safe. All of this was more than I expected in a 2-star hotel and more than I have received in some 3-star hotels. In fact, if you price this hotel against another, price it against a 3-star hotel because it delivers 3-star value.

Pleasantly Suprised
I stayed here for a week about 2 years ago. I thought it would be quite grotty having stayed in another Day's Inn in Atlanta (Northside Drive) but the room was very clean and spacious. We also had a balcony and the prices were reasonable.
Only thing I had a gripe with was the fact that they charged us for phonecalls we did not make! They basically said if a phone rings for more than a few seconds even if noone answers you still get charged a dollar, so we were about 40 dollars overcharged. We argued til we got it back though!
