Doubletree Hotel Atlanta / Buckhead

My company put me up in the DoubleTree in Buckhead. This is a renowned great hotel for its service and amenities. The best thing about this hotel is its location. Minutes from the MARTA rail station.

I was working in the medical center area of town and took the MARTA to avoid driving in the traffic. The hotel is also situated in walking distance to the Buckhead area shops, bars and clubs.

Unique Quality: Its location near MARTA and in Buckhead.

Stayed at the Doubletree for one night. I'm a frequent quest at Hilton properties, and my room was on the Hilton Honors Floor, but it was nothing special.

The bathroom was probably the nicest feature of the room - marble floors, etc. The bed was more comfortable than most, and the TV has more channels than most.

Unique Quality: The Doubletree web site boasts a "data port" in every room, but that is only dial up. If you want high-speed access for your laptop, you better have a wireless card.
