Great Central Location
I have been to Atlanta many times. From 2002 - 2006 my daughter attended college in Atlanta so I had many occasions to visit the city. On each visit I chose to stay at the same hotel, The Best Western at the Peachtrees. Its centrally located. Its within walking distance from the metro. It has a parking garage if you are driving or renting a car. Its reasonably safe to walk from the hotel to restaurants and clubs in the evening. Every morning they have a complete breakfast bar included in your hotel rate. The breakfast consists of waffles, eggs, assorted sausage bacon and ham, grits, fried potatoes, cereal, fruit, sweet rolls, juices, and coffee. The dining area has a large screen television attached to the wall where you can watch the early morning news. Monday through Thursday between 4 and 6 pm the hotel offers a complimentary wine and cocktail bar. All in all a great value in an area that has many expensive hotels. The staff has always been friendly and ready to answer questions and give advice. There is a large courtyard with lawn chairs and tables to enjoy an afternoons rest.
