I haven't actually stayed in this B&B. However, it has to be great -- all dignitaries stay there!!!
Unique Quality: Magnificent Antebellum c.1840 Georgian-style home in historic district. The virgin, longleaf, yellow pine structure is supported by 4 solid 40 foot high cypress columns and constructed with rived out boards and pegs.
All rooms have a full sofa sitting area, cable TV and fireplaces. Living room, dining room, breakfast room and library filled with antiques, fine furniture and collectibles. Second floor sitting area and art gallery is a great place for morning or afternoon tea.
Beautifully landscaped property with fountains, gazebo and swimming pool is within walking distance of downtown square and the Flint River. A 25 foot fully enclosed cabin cruiser is available for part-day or full-day cruises on Lake Seminole and the Flint River.
Daily, weekly and monthly rates available upon request. A Full breakfast is included with room rate, of course. Lunch and dinner are available by special request.
Directions: Interstate 10, Exit 29 (Tallahassee/Havana) North 39 miles on State Road 27 to Bainbridge. Turn left on Shotwell Street. Several blocks to Washington Street, turn left, third house on right.
