Columbus, Georgia. A nice and charming city, reminiscient of the Old South. I only visited there for a few days while my brother graduated from Fort Benning in January of 2000, but I could tell that the people wanted to make the city look good. They really tried, but the stretch of sleazy motels and massage parlors made the city hard to take.
