Francis Lake Golf Club
In a watery place like Lake Park you would expect water hazards on the golf course. And the establishment does not disappoint you. Five holes have places to "wet" your ball on your your way from tee to green. But even with all the water, this course is a hot one (temperature wise). The fairways are wide open with almost no tree obstructions and the sun beats down on you. Be sure to wear a hat and put on the sun screen.
The short tees play 5400 and the long tees play 6600 so it is not too arduous a course. A cart is almost a necessity though during the summer unless you are in super physical condition. And make sure you bring lots of water because you are going to sweat.
Visit the pro-shop before you start to get some extra balls and talk to the locals about how to play some of the holes.
After playing a round you will probably want to stop into the air-conditioned snack bar for some replenishment.
