    Nice Hotel

    by

We enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard Savannah. The location was fantastic for us, right across the road from the Tourist Office, walking distance to City Market and River Street by day and a $3.00 cab fair by night.

Excellent service from all employees. The rooms were very nice however there is no fridge which i prefer to have when i stay in a hotel.

If you need to take a taxi ask them to call Kelly. He's a great guy, very reliable.

And if you break your leg they have disabled rooms and a nice pool to lie next to while you recover!

Directions: Corner of MLK and Liberty

I have been to Savannah once and stayed at the Best Western on Bay Street. Location was good but the Hotel itself was not so nice. Where can I stay that is nicer and in walking distance to River Street?

I stayed at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront back in November 2004. The hotel rooms are large and clean and the hotel has a nice indoor pool, too. The hotel is about a five minute walk to River Street and the activities. The hotel is right on the river, also.

My favorite Savannah hotel is the River Street Inn. The inn has rooms that overlook the river, and guests can walk out the back door and be right in the middle of River Street, or walk out the front lobby and cross the street to the historic district. It is a bit more expensive than some, but well worth it for convenience, view, and comfort.

Hampton Inn on Bay St. is not as expensive and just as nice.
