Island Retreat: Beach House

Tybee is only about 17 miles from Savannah and you can't beat if for "home base" while you explore all the surrounding areas, it's VERY quiet and peaceful at night..We LOVE this place! It's so great to come back to after a hectic day of site seeing and walking around, it's like coming home. :-)

Unique Quality: This is a SUPER place to stay! For probably less then you would pay for a hotel in Savannah you can stay here and have the WHOLE downstairs to yourself..It's 900 square feet and has two bedrooms, a nice living room, one bath, nice little kitchen and eating area and an patio for relaxing on in the evening..It's about 3 blocks walk to the beach. AND the BEST part is it's only 695.00 per week! Plus cleaning deposit and taxes of course but still a super deal!

tybee beach vacation rentals: charming cottages at the beach on Tybee

I rented from a wonderful vacation rental company. they have apartments and houses from studios to 6 bedroom homes on the water.The rates were fair and the accomodations fantastic, comfortable,inclusive,convenient & romantic .You can have your own home instead of the impersonal hotels offered on this island.

Unique Quality: It depends on the property- I have stayed at a few.You can have full beach access or inner island tranquility. I love the fully stocked kitchens-they have every thing you need (minus the groceries) to cook meals- as well as tvs-videos-books-boardgames.Some are pet friendly too!
THe owners are sweet and helpful and guarantee a wonderful stay.
