We were very luck to stay in...

by Shenni

We were very luck to stay in the Alii Kai apartment in Princeville, our friends on Kauai organised this for us and was just wonderful, fully furnished 2 bedrooms. Also had pool and tennis court to use and lots of great walking paths through the golf courses.
was time share The apartment was overlooking the ocean with a great view towards Hanalei.

We will be leaving tomorrow for our 12th trip to kauai. We always stay on the north shore as it so peaceful and uncrowded. We stay at either Alii Kai or
sea lodge.Tunnels beach and Kee beach are both great.Kee beach is excellent for kids.We usually go in may the showers are usually short lived many times occouring in the evening time.
We usually Go to Princeville hotel for sunday breakfast. We go down to poipu and the canyon and drive many places on the island including koloa town
We enjoy Gaylords for a meal WE cant wait to return each time.

"Kauai's North Shore: Full of secrets & Surprises"

Sorry folks... Wont tell you how to get to this location for the safety & preservation of it, and the giant sea turtles that reside in it.

I can only tell you that this is merely and example of MANY more hidden secrets and beautiful little getaways on Kauai's North shore.

"Sea Turtle's retreat"

...and you can see why I cannot bear to see this little hideaway invaded, can you not?

As the popularity of the island grows; the safe grounds for Kauai's creatures diminish.

"Queen's Bath"

OK... if you twist my arm, i'll tell you how to get here.

But ONLY during summer months.

(unless you have a death-wish)

This was my 4th trip to Kauai, and Iam returning in march,2003 for 3 weeks.Went to a couple of place, a lot of people don't find. Can't wait to go back This is Kilohana plantation. Resterant and shop are nice food is excelent. And not over priced.

We found a Monestary on one of early morning drives. Very nice to walk through. Call an ask when they have visitors day, they give you a tour of the clostered areas.

"Blue dolphin charters"

This was my first trip across to Niihau. I was a 1 day certifed scuba diver. The trip up Napali, breathing taking as always, but on our way back we had to stop,to let the whales watch us. 6 humpbacks all at the same time, this some thing you have to see. Crew was a lot of fun, had our safty in mind all the time. Thi si a must do.Check back later will try to add more from this trip
