Shorts, t-shirts, anything light and summery. flipflops are good, but don't call them 'flipflops' there because that's a tourist word. the locals call them 'slippers' and trust me, they look at you funny! pack the sunscreen, and lots of it. i've been the victim of many lobster-red nights.
sibuena's new Kalaheo Page
i stayed here for a month when i went to visit my best friend. i couldn't believe how beautiful this place was. i've been to quite a few places all over Hawaii, but Kauai and kalaheo are, byfar, my most favorite places. The roads are windy, up hill, and just so much fun to go up sometimes! We went up to this cabin (i'm so sorry, i can't for the life of me remember where it was) and the road was this constant winding strip that went up and up and up. it was great, except for the dizzing feeling afterwards.
