Great Value & Location
by KiKitC about Hale Kamaole
I would recommend Hale Kamaole not only because the facilities were great, but the staff is so friendly and helpful. This condo resort in South Kihei has spacious units, with full kitchens, dining area and lanai on green courtyard with outdoor pool and BBQ facilities. We got a one bedroom unit, which could have slept 5. We also had washer and dryer in the unit that's a plus. The condos sit right across from Kamaole Beach III, which has OK snorkeling with easy access (not to mention short walk).

Where to Stay
by TwinkleOz
Hi All,
I'm planning 2 nights in Maui at the beginning of March 2007.
I need some recommendations as to what area to stay and the names of any hotels.
Muchly appreciated
Twinkle

We stayed at Hale Kamaole in South Kihei. 808-879-1221 www.halekamaole.net
The suite was nice...kitchen, washer and dryer...and not too bad snorkeling right across the street at Kamaole Beach. It was nice, get up, put on the suits walk 100 feet, put on fins...see fish.
It's reasonable and the people are incredibly nice.

I just got back from 9 days in Maui - we stayed in Kihei as well and rented a very nice fully equipped condo for $130/night (Maui Sunset property. Much less than a hotel room! Check out www.vacationsfrbo.com web site for possible availability -very nice people, grounds, pool, jacuzzi and just steps away from the beach! Have fun!
