Haleakala - a view inside
Hi every one, I'm coming to Maui on May 6th, staying in Kihei, don;t have a car, and I was wondering if there is a bicycle rental place in Kihei?

I don't know about Kihei, but there is one up by Lahana. I spoke with them when we were there in February, but decided not to rent. I seem to recall they had a branch down near Kihei. I just found them from an internet search.
I recall one near downtown Kihei, on the main road, inland side. Sorry, I don't recall more.
I'd recommend reconsidering a car; Kihei is rather stretched out, and light rain is frequent.
You can rent pretty much anything you want in Kihei.....motor scooter, surfboard, and I am sure a bike. If you can't find a place quickly, contact the places that rent motor scooters and they can tell you where to go. The locals there are quite nice.
Eat at Safeway. The Safeway deli has delicious miniture spicy meatballs, chicken wings, potato wedges, salads, etc. etc. The great thing about eating at Safeway, besides the flavor, is the variety. You can get fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy, breads, all to go and even buy a cooler and ice if you want to wait a while before eating it.
