Royal lodging on a peasant's budget
In the off season, we got a 2B/2B condo on the second floor right above the water with a 180 degree ocean view for $207.50 per night ( plus tax ).
It was very dependable and comfortable. They thought of everything: it was like coming home to our own condo - unpack the clothes and we were home. It was clean, and very well decorated. Everything was well maintained, and right where we expected it to be. These people tend to the details.
The location is excellent. A couple of small strip malls are across the street, offering several restaurants and most commonly wanted items, and the Kihei commercial district is a mile or two north for serious shopping. For snorkeling, Kam 1 is 100 yards north, and Kam 2 is 100 yards south. If you want fine dining, Sorento's is a mile south.
